KAURI is the Belgian multi-actor learning network and knowledge centre on Corporate Responsibility (Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance & Corporate Citizenship) and NGO Accountability.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an important issue in the Belgian and in the international business community. It’s a way of doing business that accounts for the stakeholders’ interests.

KAURI sees civil society organisations (non-governmental organisations, NGOs) as important corporate stakeholders.

KAURI enables the stakeholder dialogue and promotes proactive stakeholder engagement between companies and NGOs.

KAURI is an organisation with -at the moment 239- members both from the corporate world and from NGOs. Their common goal is to use their specific knowledge (and contacts) to establish local & global sustainable (trade) relationships.

Ilja De Coster, managing partner van EthiCom, is Full Certificated Member van het Britse Institute of Fundraising.

Het Britse Institute of Fundraising is de beroepsvereniging voor fondsenwervers in het Verenigd Koningrijk. Haar missie is de ondersteuning van fondsenwervers via leiderschap, representatie, standards-setting en educatie. Het promoot fondsenwerving ook als een carrière keuze. Als beroepsvereniging ondersteunt het Institute of Fundraising meer dan 5000 individuele fondsenwervers en 300 goede doelen in het uitzonderlijke werk dat zij doen.

Leden, hetzij individuen, organisaties of bedrijven – sluiten aan omwille van hun engagement om de hoogste standaarden in Fondsenwerving na te streven. Ze onderschrijven de Codes of Conduct en de Codes of Fundraising Practice die de basis vormen voor zelfregulering in de fondsenwerving sector.

Volledige Gecertificeerd lidmaatschap is enkel toegankelijk voor wie zowel de module Fundraising Practise als Managing Fundraising van het Certificate in Fundraising Management volgde en een bijhorende eindverhandeling maakte. Dit Europese erkende certificaat past in het streven van de European Fundraising Association om doorheen europa de hoogste normen in fondsenwerving te promoten. Om hun kwalificaties en expertise aan te tonen mogen Volledig Gecertificeerde leden de letters MInstF(Cert) naast hun naam gebruiken.
